Geena Davis reveals Brad Pitt was ‘just embarrassed about a tiny little pimple on his b*tt’ during the filming of a love scene in Thelma & Louise

Filming love-making scenes is not easy for actors. It is like walking a tightrope. Even the best of the actors can feel conscious about their bodies at times while filming them in the presence of the whole cast and crew. Now, popular Hollywood actress Geena Davis has opened up about her steamy love scene with Brad Pitt in their 1991 film Thelma & Louise. If her words are to be believed, the experience looks much sexier on screen than it was behind the scenes.

In her brand-new memoir, Dying of Politeness, which hit the stands on Tuesday, the 66-year-old actress said that Pitt was not very confident about filming the scene and the reason was a microscopic pimple on his butt which was being exposed during the filming of the said scene.

“Brad, for his part, could not have cared less about all the fuss over his looks,” she wrote. The actress said that the film’s director, Ridley Scott, made sure the superstar was lit to perfection for the scene. “He was just embarrassed about a tiny little pimple on his butt that the makeup gal recovered after each take.”

Even Geena felt uncomfortable while doing the scene and was even going to substitute a body double for her. “I was uncomfortable with the projected extent of skin I was being asked to show because, unlike Tootsie, there was not going to be any underwear. As a result, Ridley Scott found himself interviewing a number of body doubles who were more accustomed to flashing the flesh than I was. I told Ridley I’d do it when a line of them snaked through the lot where we were filming and right past my trailer door. After all, I had worked as a model,” she added.

Salman Khan slammed by Muslim cleric for wearing £32,000 Ayodhya Ram temple watch, calls it 'haram'

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has found himself at the centre of a religious controversy after wearing a limited edition watch featuring the Ram Janmabhoomi temple design. The accessory, which was noticed during the promotions of his upcoming film Sikandar, has drawn criticism from Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi, president of the All India Muslim Jamaat.

Maulana Razvi has expressed strong disapproval, stating that as a Muslim, Salman Khan should avoid symbols associated with other religions. He referred to the act as “haram” (forbidden) under Islamic law and urged the actor to be mindful of his influence, especially given his large Muslim fan following.
