Peepli Live was India's official entry for the 83rd Academy Awards Best Foreign Film category although it was not nominated. Satyagraha is a political drama film directed by Prakash Jha. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgan, Manoj Bajpai, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and Amrita Rao.
