1. Pink Lotus Tiffany Lamp

The most expensive lamp in the world the Pink Lotus sold at Christie’s Auction House in New York, on December 12, 1997, for an unbelievable price of $2.8 million. The Tiffany Company was founded by Louis Comfort Tiffany in 1875. Louis Comfort Tiffany and Associated Artists originally began to create beautiful glass decorations. Louis Tiffany never actually produced the lamps himself; instead, he orchestrated the entire production process by hiring the best builders at the time. It was made using 2000 separate glass pieces, all hand-cut, wrapped using the copper foil technique.

The Salviati Chandelier represents the tastes of the Italian glassmaker who decided to depict his tastes in Gothic art-form with this single ceiling lamp. The article is the only one ever made by the Venice based artist, which he made in the 19th century as an elegant and glamorous piece of lighting. Estimated at over $1 million the piece was made from rare Murano glass and gold-tint, making it extremely rare.

The Art Deco Hanging Lamps are 14 feet tall and come as a group of 4, being the last of their kind, rescued from the former building. Unique and outstanding wall lamps, the pieces are meant for an enormous luxury house and their description may make them famous. Supposedly the only 4 remaining from the batch of this French Art Deco style, the wall lamps have a starting price of $750.000 per lamp, making illumination for the rich worth millions.
