7 Tips To Maintain Healthy Weight in Your Life

Keeping to a healthy weight is crucial to your physical and mental health. Maintaining a healthy body weight has been shown to lessen the likelihood of developing serious conditions like diabetes, heart disease, and some forms of cancer. Losing weight and keeping it off isn't easy.

Nowadays people are spending so much on fat loss pills, creatine powder and much more but are not following the basics. In this article, we will share some of the basic tips to achieve and maintain a healthy weight:

1. Track your food intake

Keeping a food diary can help you become more conscious of the calories you are taking in. If you're trying to lose weight, this can point you in the direction of the areas of your diet where you can make the most progress. Keep track of what you eat with a food diary, or app.

2. Move more

For effective weight management, physical activity should be incorporated into each day. Exercising not only aids calorie burning, but also helps build muscle, which in turn speeds up the body's metabolic rate. Maintaining a daily routine of moderate-intensity activity like brisk walking, cycling, or swimming for at least 30 minutes is recommended.

3. Eat a balanced diet

Eating a diet full of different foods from each food group is essential for staying at a healthy weight. Eat a diet rich in fruits and vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins, and cut back on processed foods, added sugars, and saturated fats.

4. Get a good sleep

The amount of sleep you get each night can have a significant impact on your ability to keep the pounds off. Sleep deprivation increases the production of hormones that stimulate hunger, which may lead to overeating. Sleep for at least seven to eight hours nightly.

5. Maintain your stress levels

Stress hormones, such as cortisol and adrenaline, have been linked to increased appetite and weight gain due to chronic stress. Maintaining a healthy weight can be aided by practising stress-reduction techniques such as yoga, meditation, or deep breathing.

6. Mealtimes are important

Overeating is a common side effect of skipping meals, which can have negative effects on your weight. It is possible to keep your appetite in check and avoid binge eating by eating several small, healthy meals every few hours.

7. Be patient

Getting slim requires dedication and time. Be patient and don't give up if you don't see immediate results. Keep in mind that even minor adjustments can have significant effects in the long run.

Conclusion

Always keep in mind that the scale isn't the only indicator of success in your weight loss efforts. Finding that sweet spot between your caloric intake and burn can help you maintain a healthy weight. Also, keep in mind that a healthy weight for one person may be different from that for another person because of the fact that every body is different. If you want to know more about your weight or how to achieve a healthy weight, talk to your doctor or a registered dietitian. Don’t take any medicine, creatine, mass gainers, or protein powders without consultation.

'Spiritual world is our true home'

A RITUAL is an act regularly repeated in a set manner. For our work, to stay healthy, for entertainment, for good sleep, and for a myriad of other reasons, we follow many rituals. And religiously also, we may follow many customary rituals.

Where I live and serve at Bhaktivedanta Manor in Watford, UK, on a special day we happily host thousands of pilgrims of all ages and from all segments of society. So many people visit us that day that they must stand in a queue for up to an hour in order to come before our beautiful altar where Sri Sri Radha Gokukananda, Sri Sri Sita Rama Lakshman Hanuman, and Sri Sri Gaura Nitai reside.
