Buzz has it that after locking Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal for Hera Pheri 3, the third instalment of the Hera Pheri franchise, producer Firoz A. Nadiadwala has greenlit a sequel to Awara Paagal Deewana (2002).

Once the entire cast is finalized, the plan is to take all of them to the Shaolin Temple in China for training. The film is expected to go on the floors next year and a major portion is being planned in the US, between Los Angeles and the Mexico border. The makers are looking at bringing back the concept of The Wild West.”
