A Sony LIV Web Series Binge-fest with Watcho Subscription

You know how it feels when you discover a show that grabs you by the collar and won’t let go? In today’s digital wonderland, platforms like Sony LIV are like candy stores for binge-watchers, and if you’ve got a Watcho subscription, you’re in for a sweet treat! So, grab your favorite snacks and let’s discuss some of the most watched web series in India that’ll have you clearing your calendar faster than you can say “Just one more episode!”

Adrishyam - The Invisible Heroes

If you’ve ever felt like you’re living in the shadows of someone’s brilliance, this one’s for you. It tells the story of those unsung heroes we often overlook—like that barista who knows your coffee order better than you do or your friend who always remembers to text you just when you need it. The series follows undercover intelligence officers Ravi and Parvati, who go undercover as meteorologists. Discussion about taking “weather reports” to a whole new level!

What hits home is the raw realism in the characters’ struggles. It’s like looking in a mirror and reflecting on all those invisible champions we encounter daily—your neighbor who always lends a helping hand or that teacher who changes lives quietly. If you’re looking for something that’ll make you appreciate the little things in life, this is your jam.

Zindaginama

Think of it as a bamboo box full of assorted sushi —each episode is a new flavor, showcasing life’s unpredictable twists and turns. It’s a six-part anthology that’s as relatable as your favorite pair of pajamas on a lazy Sunday. Released on World Mental Health Day, it beautifully explores mental health through stories of love, loss, and the occasional existential crisis (you know, the kind that hits you at 3 AM).

Honestly, you might need a box of tissues—this series knows how to make you feel all that you have been avoiding. It reminds us that life is a colorful tapestry, and we’re all just trying to weave our own patterns. So, get ready for some heartfelt laughs and maybe a few sobs; it’s a journey worth taking!

Tanaav

Then there’s Tanaav , a show that dives deep into the murky waters of conflict and human resilience. Set against a backdrop that’s anything but peaceful, it captures the complexities of terrorism and its ripple effects on everyday lives. Think of it as Fauda ’s Indian cousin—still just as intense but with its own cultural spice.

The performances are so gripping, you’ll find yourself on the edge of your seat, popcorn forgotten (gasp!). It’s a brilliant reminder of how our surroundings shape us and how we adapt to survive. If you’re in the mood for something that makes you think, Tanaav will definitely deliver.

Pehla Pyaar - Less Than 1% Chance

Let’s shift gears to Pehla Pyaar - Less Than 1% Chance . The first love, the thing of daydreams and awkward glances. This charming romantic drama perfectly encapsulates the thrill and the heartbreak of young love. Remember your first crush? The butterflies, the awkward conversations, and the ultimate “What do I even say?” moments? This series captures all that nostalgia and then some.

Set in Patna, it tackles societal pressures while still giving us those sweet, mushy moments. It’s like reliving your teenage diary, but with better production quality. If you’re a sucker for romance, this one’s a delightful escape into the world of first loves and crushes.

Gullak

If family life were a TV show, this would be it. It’s a slice-of-life comedy that perfectly captures the quirks of a middle-class Indian family. The Mishra family’s ups and downs feel like a mirror reflecting your own crazy relatives and their hilarious antics. You know, the kind where your mom’s convinced that a little more salt will solve everything?

The most lovable thing about Gullak is how it highlights the beauty in the mundane. It reminds you that family is everything, even when they drive you up the wall. If you’re after a feel-good series that’ll leave you smiling and thinking, “That’s so my family,” look no further.

Pukaar - Dil Se Dil Tak

Up next is Pukaar - Dil Se Dil Tak , a heartwarming drama that explores love and sacrifice in a world filled with challenges. Set in Jaipur, it’s like watching a beautiful tapestry unfold—each character’s journey revealing the strength of human connections. The show does a fantastic job of showcasing how love can triumph over the stormiest of seas.

You’ll find yourself rooting for the characters as they navigate through their challenges—just like cheering for your favorite team during the finals!

Undekhi

Last but definitely not least is Undekhi web series, a gripping thriller that’ll have you hooked from the very first scene. Picture a wedding gone wrong, dark secrets lurking in every corner, and suspense that’ll make your heart race. As the plot thickens, you’ll be trying to piece together the mystery like a detective with a donut in hand.

What makes Undekhi Season 2 stand out is its rich character development. You’ll be invested in their lives, secrets, and motivations. It’s the kind of show that keeps you guessing until the credits roll, and trust me, you won’t want to miss a second of it!

Two men jailed for trying to smuggle migrants into UK

TWO London-based men have been sentenced to over 10 years behind bars after being convicted of breaching UK immigration law by trying to smuggle four Indian migrants in a hidden van compartment disguised by a stack of dirty tyres.

According to the UK Home Office, British nationals Shafaz Khan and Choudhry Rashied, who operated under the alias ‘Manzar Mian Attique’, hid the group of migrants behind the tyres in a “purpose built” hidden space in the vehicle.
