Aftab Shivdasani & Raai Lakshmi scorch the first poster of Poison 2

One of the leading streaming media giants, ZEE5, is back with yet another intense story of love, betrayal and revenge, titled Poison 2. As the title aptly suggests, Poison 2 is the second season of its hugely successful original series Poison. While the previous season had Arbaaz Khan, Tarun Virwani, Riya Sen, Freddy Daruwala and Sakshi Pradhan in central characters, season 2 stars Aftab Shivdasani and Raai Lakshmi in lead roles.

Today, the makers dropped the first poster of the much-awaited series, which set the internet on fire with the sizzling chemistry that the lead pair shares. If the first poster is anything to go by, the series is set to grab a lot of eyeballs upon its premiere in April.

As mentioned before, Aftab Shivdasani and Raai Lakshmi play the lead in the second season of the popular OTT show. The interesting fact is that both of them are making their digital debut with the series. The makers took to social media and shared the first poster with the caption, "Revenge can be sweet, but did you know it could be this sizzling! Poison 2 premieres 30th April on ZEE5."

The series has been directed by Vishal Pandya, who has previously helmed such successful erotic thrillers as Hate Story 2 (2014), Hate Story 3 (2015), Wajah Tum Ho (2016) and Hate Story 4 (2018). It is produced by Suzanna Ghai of Panorama Entertainment.

Poison 2 is a thriller which promises to be as engaging and interesting as Season 1. The latest season boasts of a completely new plot and storyline but has revenge at the centre of it. Poison 2 will mark the digital debut of Bollywood actor Aftab Shivdasani. He plays the lead protagonist in the series. Joining him will be South sensation Raai Lakshmi, Pooja Chopra, Gautam Gulati and Taher Shabbir.

Poison 2 is scheduled for its premiere exclusively on ZEE5 on 30th April.
