After Aiyaary, Rakul Preet Singh to romance Sidharth Malhotra in Marjaavaan

After sharing screen space with Sidharth Malhotra in Neeraj Pandey’s Aiyaary earlier this year, actress Rakul Preet Singh has bagged yet another movie with the Bollywood heartthrob. Rakul, who also appears in Tamil and Telugu movies, will romance Malhotra in the forthcoming Hindi film Marjaavaan.

Marjaavaan, which was announced a couple of weeks ago, is an action thriller with an emotional angle. It is being helmed by Milap Zaveri, who recently directed the John Abraham starrer hit Satyamev Jayate (2018).

Rakul took to her Twitter handle to share the news with her fans and well-wishers. “Super happy to announce my next in Hindi Marjaavaan! Milap Zaveri let`s kill it!” read her tweet.

Welcoming Rakul Preet onboard, director Milap Zaveri wrote on the micro-blogging site, “Gives me great joy to welcome the gorgeous and talented Rakul Preet to Marjaavaan. Dialoguebaazi and dhamaka en route!”

Aside from Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh, Marjaavaan also stars Riteish Deshmukh and Tara Sutaria. The movie reunites Malhotra and Deshmukh after their 2014 film Ek Villain.

The action thriller film is being bankrolled by filmmaker Nikkhil Advani’s Emmay Entertainment and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series Films. It is slated to hit the big screen on 2nd October, 2019.

Meanwhile, Rakul Preet Singh is presently shooting for her much-anticipated film De De Pyaar De. Helmed by editor-turned-director Akiv Ali, the movie also stars superstar Ajay Devgn and Tabu in principal roles.
