Ali Fazal to appear in Dia Mirza’s digital series Mind The Malhotras

After garnering rave reviews for his outstanding performance in Amazon Prime Video’s high-profile web-series Mirzapur, Ali Fazal has added yet another exciting digital series to his pocket.

The actor will soon be seen putting up a special appearance in actress-producer Dia Mirza’s forthcoming web-series titled Mind The Malhotras. The show is being bankrolled by Applause Entertainment.

It will not be the first collaboration between Ali and Dia as the former has previously worked with the latter on her production venture Bobby Jasoos (2014), which starred National Film Award-winning actress Vidya Balan in the title role.

Coming to Mind The Malhotras, the web-series is being helmed by Dia Mirza’s husband Sahil Sangha It is an official adaptation of the hit Israeli show La Famiglia.

Talking about reteaming with Dia and Sahil, Fazal says, “Dia and Sahil have always been very, very dear to me. Obviously, this relationship started with Bobby Jasoos; they were producers and Dia got me onboard to work with Vidya ma’am (in the) film.”

The actor goes on to add that he got really excited when he was approached for Mind The Malhotras. “I got really excited. I think the format is very western that Sahil is using, actually, and it is very classic. And I am really hopeful that people will get to watch this kind of show as well in the middle of all the other web content like Sacred Games and Mirzapur. It’s a nice fun comedy and I am obviously doing one small part in one episode. It’s a guest appearance.”

Meanwhile, Ali Fazal will also be seen in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Milan Talkies and Sanjay Dutt’s Prassthanam.
