Amber Heard rents a luxury Mallorca villa under the pseudonym name of a sharpshooter?

Once a beloved star of Hollywood, Amber Heard has been living on the edge ever since losing out on the high-profile defamation trial against her ex-husband, Jonny Depp. While Depp has crawled back to his regular life and has started working, Heard, it seems, is still finding it difficult to come to terms with her defeat.

If fresh reports doing the rounds are to be believed, the Aquaman star has been using a cowgirl pseudonym as she vacations in Mallorca, Spain.

Spanish newspaper El Mundo reports that Heard has rented a luxury villa under the name of gun-slinging frontierswoman Martha Jane Cannary aka Calamity Jane.

For those not in the know, Cannary was a notorious sharpshooter in the 19th century and was even the subject of the western series Deadwood, set at HBO.

The sprawling villa that Heard has rented is owned by Maria Antònia Munar, a local politician who served 14 years in prison for corruption. He has been out of jail since 2020.

As per the publication, the locals immediately recognised the actress. However, she blended beautifully with them, and people left her alone.

A town resident said Amber had been there for months, and no one knew it, as everyone treated her as their own.

“Everyone here treats her like one of the others. In fact, she has been in this town for months without anyone knowing,” said the town resident.

Reports suggest Amber has a Mexican Spanish accent and takes her daughter to pay like any other mother.

The judge in the Johnny Depp-Amber Heard defamation trial ordered Heard to pay Depp $10.35 million for damaging Depp’s reputation by describing herself as a domestic abuse victim in an op-ed piece she wrote. She was also asked to pay $350,000 in punitive damages.
