Amitabh Bachchan gears up to shoot action scenes for Chehre

News had it lately that megastar Amitabh Bachchan had been advised to slow down the pace of his work and rest for at least a month before resuming work. But looks like the thespian has not taken the medical advice seriously. What makes us think so?

Well, despite getting strict warming by doctors, the superstar continues to work and juggle multiple projects together. We now hear that he is getting ready to fly off to Poland where he will be shooting for some action sequences for writer-director Rumi Jaffery’s upcoming film Chehre. The mystery thriller also stars Emraan Hashmi in the lead role.


A source close to the development informs an entertainment portal that in spite of all medical warnings Senior Bachchan is going ahead with the action scene. “There is a major action scene to be shot in Poland. In spite of all medical warnings Bachchan Saab is going ahead with the action scene. It is really very simple. There is a commitment that he has made. The schedule in Poland was decided long before his recent health issues. Bachchan Saab cannot allow the producer Anand Pandit to incur losses.

The source goes on to add, “The Poland schedule would signal the end of the shooting for Chehre. After this, Big B would take his break. But would his already frail physical health be able to take the strain?”

Besides Chehre, Amitabh Bachchan is also working on Dharma Productions’ ambitious fantasy drama Brahmastra. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the much-awaited movie also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Mouni Roy in lead roles. The megastar is also awaiting the release of his next films Jhund and Gulabo Sitabo. All his upcoming projects are slated to enter theatres in 2020.
