Amitabh Bachchan may join Abhishek and Aishwarya in Gulab Jamun

Fans are excited to know that Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are finally doing a movie together. Titled Gulab Jamun, the movie is being bankrolled by Phantom Films.

The latest we hear that megastar Amitabh Bachchan may also join son Abhishek and daughter-in-law Aishwarya in the film. Yes, according to sources, Big B will also be seen in the Anurag Kashyap-produced film.


Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were last seen together in Ram Gopal Varma's Sarkar Raj (2008), which turned out to be a successful movie at the box-office.

Reportedly, when the makers of Gulab Jamun had first approached Senior Bachchan almost a year ago, he had suggested a few tweaks in the script of the film. The makers are said to have made those changes in the script and have approached the veteran once again.

It is yet not clear what will be Big B’s role in the movie. More details are expected to come out soon.

Gulab Jamun is expected to roll by the year-end.

The theatre was packed for the Third Shanghai–London Screen Industry Forum. Between panels and workshops, filmmakers, producers and executives discussed ideas and business cards and it felt more than just a summit. British-Asian filmmakers were meeting and greeting the Chinese industry in an attempt to explore genuine possibilities of working in China’s film market.
