Ananya Panday is in love with Lucknow

Ananya Panday, who entered showbusiness with Dharma Productions’ college-caper Student of the Year 2 (2019), will be next seen in her second outing Pati Patni Aur Woh. The actress had signed the film even before the release of SOTY 2. The major part of the film has been shot in Lucknow, the state capital of Uttar Pradesh.

Ananya had a blast shooting for the film in Lucknow and wishes to go back to the city to watch the movie there. Sharing her experience, the actress said, "I had a lot of fun shooting in Lucknow. We were there for 2 months and it felt like home. It, actually, became home. So many like fun memories. You know, in general when the crew is staying together and when the cast is staying together, it is a lot of fun. We ate a lot - the biryanis, the kebabs - just amazing. The people there are so warm, so nice. So, I had a lot of fun and by the end, I just did not want to come back even though we were there for 2 months already. I can't wait to go back and hopefully I can go back to actually watch the film there, but we would be going back for promotions, so that'll be very exciting. I loved, loved, loved Lucknow."

Pati Patni Aur Woh is an official remake of the 1978 film of the same name. Besides Ananya Panday, the movie also stars Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar in lead roles. Produced by T-Series Films and B.R. Studios, the remake is directed by Mudassar Aziz. It is set to roll into theatres on 6th December.

Apart from Pati Patni Aur Who, Ananya Panday also has Ali Abbas Zafar’s Khaali Peeli alongside Ishaan Khatter. The movie is slated to arrive in theatres on 12th of June 2020.
