Arshad Warsi set for digital debut

Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi, who is mostly remembered for playing the iconic character of Circuit in Rajkumar Hirani’s Munna Bhai M.B.B.S (2003) and Lage Raho Munna Bhai (2006), is gearing up for his digital debut.

The actor is going to play a pivotal part in the forthcoming digital series Asura, which also stars popular television actor Barun Sobti in the lead role. The series will be exclusively available on VOOT.

Warsi will play the character of a forensic expert in the series. The makers are quite psyched up about having the talented actor onboard.

“It’s a layered and exciting character, and a powerhouse performer like Arshad will take it to another level. We’re thrilled to have him on Asura and he is bound to surprise the audience with an edgy portrayal,” Monica Shergill from VOOT said.

The platform is yet to announce the premiere date for Asura.
