As Inshallah gets shelved, Sanjay Leela Bhansali to now team up with Shah Rukh Khan?

It came as a surprise to one and all when on Sunday night Salman Khan tweeted that Inshallah has been pushed. Soon, it was revealed that it is not just pushed, but the film has been shelved.

Salman gave a statement to a tabloid about it. He stated, “Sanjay was a friend even before we started working on Khamoshi. He had come to meet me through Manisha Koirala. After that, we collaborated on Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. When he came to me with this film, I liked it and we decided to work together again. One thing I can say is that Sanjay won’t do gaddaari with his film. I want him to make the film he wants to make. Nothing changes between us as friends and I’m sure nothing has changed in Sanjay’s heart for me. I’m extremely close to his mother (Leela) and sister (Bela). I wish him all the best. He and I will still work in future on a film, Inshallah."

With this statement of the actor, it is clear that the film has been shelved because of the creative differences between them. Now according to a report in an entertainment portal, SLB has decided to move ahead and start work on his next with Shah Rukh Khan. Well, it won’t be Inshallah but another film which is reportedly titled as Izhaar.

A source told the portal, “Once certain issues arose between Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Salman Khan, the filmmaker had realised that Inshallah may not be possible, so he had initiated talks with Shah Rukh Khan. They had last worked together in Devdas (2002) and both have always shared a warm and cordial association.”

“But the project that Bhansali and SRK may do together won’t be Inshallah. It will be a new movie. SLB recently got the title, Izhaar, registered with the Indian Motion Pictures Producers Association (IMPPA) and he and Shah Rukh were in talks for Izhaar being produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Bhansali Productions. It’s a beautiful, intense love story of unexpressed love and speculation is rife that this the project that the filmmaker will direct SRK in. Initially, it was to be directed by a top director and Bhansali was only producing it but now Inshallah has been shelved, he is free to direct it himself. The lead actress is yet to be finalized but the buzz is that it may be Alia Bhatt,” added the source.

Reportedly, Salman's Kick 2 will hit the screens on Eid 2020 and it is said that Izhaar too will hit the screens on Eid 2020. But we wonder if Salman and SRK would like to clash at the box office. Well, let's wait for an official announcement.
