Asian Business Awards to be aired on Zee TV

THE annual Asian Business Awards, hosted last month by the Asian Media Group, publishers of Eastern Eye and Garavi Gujarat news weeklies, will be broadcast on TV this weekend.

The ceremony, held in central London on November 19, will be shown on Zee TV’s flagship community show Out and About, on Sunday (5) at 7 pm.


The Asian Business Awards, held for the first time in two years due to Covid, celebrate the success of the wealthiest and most successful Asian business men and women. In all, 10 winners were rewarded on the night. Industrialists and business leaders such as GP Hinduja, Anil Agarwal, Simon Arora and Dawood Pervez shared their insight with the select gathering.

The annual Asian Rich List, which chronicles the wealth of the 101 richest Asians in the UK, was also unveiled at the gala event.

Viewers can find the channel on Sky 709 and on Virgin 809.

Modi's BJP wins Delhi assembly election after 27 years

INDIAN prime minister Narendra Modi said on Saturday that "development had won" as his Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) secured victory in Delhi’s local elections, ending a 27-year gap since it last controlled the capital’s legislature.
