Asian Lawyer Honoured With Top Award At Manchester Event

AN ASIAN lawyer was honoured with a top award last month at an exclusive Manchester event.

Kashmir Uppal was declared Clinical Negligence Lawyer of the Year at the national Eclipse Proclaim Personal Injury Awards 2018.

The lawyer was recognised for her experience, application and commitment with colleagues and legal directories describing her as “handling pres-sure effortlessly”.

Uppal has previously worked in high profile cases, such as the Ian Paterson case which saw her defend hundreds of women who had been affected by the disgraced breast surgeon.

On winning the award, Uppal said she was “delighted and honoured”, but dedicated the honour to the survivors of Paterson’s crimes.
