Baahubali fame Rana Daggubati set to replace Vikas Gupta in Ace of Space

Ace of Space is quite a popular youth show on Indian television. If you have seen it before on MTV India, you would agree that it a mix of Bigg Boss and Crunch, where several contestants are locked up inside rooms and given a number of tasks to perform to save themselves against elimination.

The last season of Ace of Space had producer and Bigg Boss 11 contestant Vikas Gupta as the host. The season did manage to attract a huge number of eyeballs and was a hit on TRP charts as well.

After the success of its predecessor, Ace of Space is set to return with another season. The latest season will have the same format, but there are going to be several changes also.

We hear that the makers are looking at roping in another personality to host the new season. And the name that is leading the race is of Rana Daggubati, who rose to instant fame by playing the lead antagonist in Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and Baahubali: The Conclusion (2017).

According to reports, Rana has been in discussion with the team for Ace of Space 2 for some time now. He has also liked the idea and, if reports are to be believed, given his verbal nod to host the upcoming season.

But since Ace of Space is a regular show, it needs his presence in Mumbai every day to shoot the episodes. The modalities are being worked out, we hear. More details are awaited.
