Bobby Deol’s personal and professional plans go haywire in lockdown

Bobby Deol, who was last seen in Housefull 4 (2019), was gearing up to start shooting for his debut webseries, Class of 83, when India went into complete lockdown. The actor had also planned a vacation to Maldives to celebrate the 50th birthday of his close friend. “But amid all this, the best thing that has happened is it is a house full of people as my kids and nephews are back home,” says Deol.

The actor is making the most of time at his disposal by working out at his home. “It is a great way to stay fit and keep our mind occupied because what is happening outside in the world is disturbing and you keep thinking about it over and over again,” he shares.

While Bobby Deol and his superstar brother Sunny Deol are quarantining at their homes in Mumbai, their father Dharmendra is currently at his farmhouse near Lonavala. The veteran actor had gone there just before the lockdown came into force. Bobby is happy that his father is safe away from the main city.

“He is 84 and we do feel worried about his health, but I know by worrying all the time will only make us feel low. So, we are trying to think about the positive things. He is in a safe zone away from outsiders’ reach, with my mother and chachi,” says Deol. “Seeing him grow organic vegetables in his paradise makes us feel so happy.”

On the work front, Bobby Deol will next be seen in Netflix’s Class of 83, which is being produced by superstar Shah Rukh Khan under his production house, Red Chillies Entertainment.
