After establishing herself as one of the leading actresses of Hindi cinema, Padukone went to Hollywood and made her debut there with the 2017 action entertainer xXx: Return of Xander Cage opposite Vin Diesel.

Though the movie did not leave the cash registers jingling at the box-office, the audience did appreciate Deepika Padukone’s performance as Serena Unger. Now, two years after the release of xXx: Return of Xander Cage, Vin Diesel has shared a post, hinting that the next instalment of the xXx franchise is in the works. And not just that, Deepika Padukone could also join the cast in the upcoming instalment. Yes, you read it right!
