However, recently at an event, SRK stated that in the next couple of months he will announce his next and his statement makes us wonder if he was hinting at starring in Inshallah. The actor said, "I am thinking and taking some time. I am working on two or three scripts and, Inshallah, as soon as they are ready, I am ready. Because most of the people with whom I am working are busy so, Inshallah, I will announce it myself. I feel till the time rumours are floating around, it's good because some of them have given me ideas."

Well, after Inshallah was shelved there were reports that SRK will be starring in a film titled Izhaar which will be directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. In the past few months, we have heard that SRK is starring in Don 3, Rajkumar Hirani’s next, Ali Abbas Zafar’s next and Shankar’s next. But none of the films have been officially announced.

We now hope that soon Shah Rukh Khan will announce his next film and all the speculations will come to an end. By the way, a few days ago, during an interview with a TV channel, SRK’s wife Gauri Khan had stated that he is quite excited about the actor taking a break.
