Drashti Dhami walks out of Colors' Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka

Amidst rumours of Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka, one of the most popular shows on Colors, going off-air, we have now come to learn that actress Drashti Dhami, who plays Nandini on the show, has put her papers down. Yes, Dhami is no longer a part of the series.

The show, which premiered on 4 June 2018, revolves around Kunal and Nandini who betray Mauli who is married to Kunal and has been the best friend of Nandini since childhood. Though the show has been garnering good TRPs, it has received backlash from the audience who could not digest its super bold storyline.

According to reports, the makers wanted to introduce a leap to end the story on a proper note. After the time leap, Nandini and Mauli’s characters were to be shown as mothers, something that did not go well with Drashti and she decided to quit the show.

We hear that the makers are still trying to discuss and sort things out with the actress. However, Drashti has already announced her exit in her recent Instagram post.

“And this journey of Nandini on “Silsila” comes to an end today... It’s been short but one helluva of a journey... I still remember the outdoor shoot in Goa like it happened yesterday to working with new co-stars who are my friends today...actually very, very good friends and to the sheer hard work I put in to bring “Nandini” to life on screen... It’s actually been a roller coaster ride which has been bumpy, but been a huge learning for me both as an actor as well as a person... I do want to thank my producers (this is my 2nd show with them) the channel, my co-actors/colleague on this show and everyone associated with this show and to my fans who have been so, so supportive... Till the next acting initiative here’s Drashti signing off, till we meet again.....Adios. Lots of love @aditidevsharma @shaktiarora @ashukla09 @colorstv @ravs0058 @pearl_spellbound,” read her post.
