Dream Girl: It is Dhagala Lagali Kala for Ayushmann Khurrana, Nushrat Bharucha and Riteish Deshmukh

The makers of Dream Girl are leaving no stone unturned to create a good pre-release buzz. The trailer and the songs, Radhe Radhe and Dil Ka Telephone have impressed one and all. And now, the makers have decided to add a song in the film which will be a recreated version of famous Marathi track Dhagala Lagali Kala. The original track featured Dada Kondke and the recreated version will have lead actors of Dream Girl, Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrat Bharucha. The two actors will be joined by Riteish Deshmukh.

While talking about it, Riteish told a tabloid, “Dhagala is an all-time favourite dance number. The original featured the legendary Dada Kondke, so being a part of this song was motivation enough. Also, Ayushmann and Nushrat are fantastic actors and dancers and having admired their work I was happy to share the screen with them.”

Further talking about the song, the actor stated, “It can make even a non-dancer sway, that’s the power of the song. And every actor wants to do an out-and-out dance number. There have been great recreations of songs, some not so good ones as well. As long as due respect is given to a track in its recreated version, it is welcome. The younger generation is accepting and dancing to it and that’s great.”

Director Raaj Shaandilyaa knows Riteish very well and when he requested him, the actor came on board immediately. The director revealed, “I had done the chat show Yaaron Ki Baraat with Riteish. We have known each other for a long time. When I made this request, he immediately agreed.” The song is sung by Jyotica Tangri and Meet Bros.

Produced by Ekta Kapoor, Dream Girl is slated to hit the screens on 13th September 2019. Ayushmann plays the character a guy in the film who portrays the role of Sita and Radha in theatre plays and later starts talking to men on the phone in female voice by using the name Pooja.

Rajamouli’s next project, with a budget exceeding Rs. 1000 crore, is expected to be a massive cinematic experience, and fans are eagerly awaiting the fresh pairing of Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra.

While excitement builds around the film's grand scale, another major talking point is Priyanka Chopra's reported remuneration for the project. The actress, known for her global appeal, is said to be charging a hefty Rs. 30 crore for SSMB29, making her the highest-paid actress in the Indian film industry. This has reportedly pushed Deepika Padukone, who was previously the highest-paid with a salary of Rs. 15 to 20 crore per film, into second place. "I didn't know what sexy meant": Jennifer Love Hewitt reflects on being sexualized as a teenager

Jennifer Love Hewitt recently reflected on her early years in Hollywood, revealing how she was sexualised as a teenager without fully understanding it at the time. In a candid conversation on Mayim Bialik’s 'Breakdown' podcast, the 45-year-old actress shared that at just 16, she was subjected to inappropriate comments from grown men about her body, particularly her breasts. These remarks were often made openly in interviews, which Hewitt now finds disturbing, given the context of her age.

Hewitt, who became famous after starring in I Know What You Did Last Summer in 1997, recalled how the attention on her physical appearance increased after she appeared on the cover of 'Maxim' in 1999. Men would approach her, mentioning how they took her magazine on trips, but at the time, she didn’t fully grasp the sexual undertones of these comments. “I didn’t know what that meant,” she admitted, adding that it felt strange to be labelled a sex symbol before even knowing what being "sexy" meant.
