Erica Fernandes confirms being in a relationship

It happens more often than not that actors are linked to their co-stars. Popular television actress Erica Fernandes has gone through the same in her personal life. When she was working on Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi on Sony Entertainment Television, rumours had it that she was dating her co-star Shaheer Sheikh. And when she joined Parth Samthaan on the cast of Star Plus’ leading show Kasautii Zindagii Kay, several media outlets reported that the two were more than just co-stars.

After several link-up rumours over the years, Erica Fernandes has finally opened up about her relationship status. The actress has confirmed that she has been in a relationship for the past three years.

Confirming her relationship status, Fernandes said in an Instagram Live with Sid Kannan that she has been with someone for over three years. She went on to add that no one would know him as he does not belong to the industry.

When asked what was the best part of being in a relationship, the actress said, “I think all relationships go through ups and downs. However, there should be an understanding between the partners. If one person is angry, the other should let the partner cool down, and discuss the matter politely later. We have this understanding and compatibility between us. That is how we held it together.”

Meanwhile, the makers of Kasautii Zindagii Kay have resumed shooting after a complete halt of almost three months due to the Coronavirus pandemic. While Parth has already begun the shoot, Erica is expected to join the team soon.
