Famous Bollywood films that complete 20 years in 2020

It’s been 20 years since the new millennium started. A lot of things have changed in the past 20 years, but people’s love for movies is still the same. So today, we have decided to make you feel a bit old and nostalgic.

Well, here’s the list of famous Bollywood movies that complete 20 years in 2020…


Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai

The first in the list is Hrithik Roshan and Ameesha Patel starrer Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai. Directed by Rakesh Roshan, the film is regarded as one of the best romantic films made in Bollywood. It was one of the biggest hits of 2000 and gave us a superstar like Hrithik Roshan.

Mohabbatein

Duniya Mein Kitni Hain Nafratein, Phir Bi Dilo Mein Hai Chahtein, Mar Bi Jaye Pyaar Wale, Mit Bi Jaayen Yaar Wale, Zinda Rehti Hain Unki Mohabbatein... Mohabbatein starring Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead roles surely touched the right chords of our hearts. The songs of the film are still loved by moviegoers and we cannot forget the amazing performances of SRK and Big B from the film.

Refugee

JP Dutta’s Refugee marked the debut of Abhishek Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Well, though the film failed to make a mark at the box office, it gave us two talented actors like Abhishek and Kareena. The two have surely come a long way in these 20 years.

Josh

While in Mohabbatein, Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were paired opposite each other, in the same year they starred in Josh as siblings. The film was about two gangs in Goa, Bichhoo gang vs Eagle gang. It did quite well at the box office and the song Apun Bola Tu Meri Laila was a rage.

Fiza

This year, Karisma Kapoor is ruling the digital world with her web series Mentalhood, but 20 years ago, she ruled the silver screen with her amazing performances. In 2000, the actress starred in Fiza and impressed one and all with her performance. The movie also featured Hrithik Roshan and Jaya Bachchan, and Kapoor and Bachchan won many awards for their performance in the film.

Dhadkan

In the late 90s and early 2000, we got to see many intense love stories and Dhadkan was one of them. The film starred Shilpa Shetty, Akshay Kumar, and Suniel Shetty. All the three actors were excellent in the film and gave one of the best performances of their careers in it.

Kya Kehna

Last but not the least; we have Preity Zinta starrer Kya Kehna on the list. The movie spoke about pre-marital pregnancy and was said to be ahead of its time 20 years ago. However, it was a hit at the box office and Preity’s performance was appreciated a lot. Well, we miss watching Preity Zinta on the big screen.
