BOLLYWOOD superstar Salman Khan has one of the most dedicated and loyal fan bases in the world. One of these admirers is Sahil Khan from Kolkata, who runs a very popular  online fan club dedicated to the A-list actor. Eastern Eye caught up with Sahil to find out more...

What made you decide to set up the fan club?

There are loads of fan clubs of Salman Khan, but not many are as active as they should be. So that is why I initiated one named @SalmansDomain that is very much active and all about Salman Khan.


Tell us about your fan club?

@SalmansDomain is special because it’s a fan club of the biggest Indian superstar. Here you can find everything about Salman. His latest pictures, videos, exclusive news and

trends as well.

What has been your most memorable moment?

Being a Salman Khan fan means each and everyday is memorable for you, due to the stature of Salman and the kind of humanitarian endeavours he does.

What is the best thing you like about Salman Khan?

Everything! You talk about movies, he is possibly the best entertainer of all-time. You talk about Salman as a humanitarian, then just look at Being Human and that is the perfect introduction.

What is your favourite work of his?

Salman saves at least four or five lives in a day through his Being Human NGO. This is God level stuff.

Tell us an interesting fact about him...

The name Salman Khan is a brand. News channels, movie sites and many such people mint money by talking and writing negative things about him. This is a fact, which I’ve realised over the time.

What is your definition of a true fan?

The one who stands by and supports their favourite during successes and failures is a true fan.

'The Brutalist' and 'Emilia Perez' lead Golden Globe wins

AT THE 82nd Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, The Brutalist, the story of a Holocaust survivor chasing the American dream, and Emilia Perez, a musical thriller about a Mexican drug lord transitioning to a woman, won the top awards of the evening.

Neil Young confirms Glastonbury performance after initial withdrawal

FOLK musician Neil Young has reversed his earlier decision to pull out of the Glastonbury music festival and will now headline the event, he announced alongside festival organisers on Friday.

Young had initially withdrawn from the festival, citing concerns over its "corporate control" through its association with the BBC. However, he later clarified that the decision was based on "an error in the information I received."
