Here’s everything you need to know about Bhansali’s next production venture

After the grand success of his last directorial venture Padmaavat (2018), celebrated filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is now gearing up to helm his next Inshallah, which reunites him with superstar Salman Khan after a massive gap of two decades. Besides Khan, the movie also stars extremely talented Alia Bhatt as the female lead. Ever since the project was officially announced a couple of weeks ago, fans have been waiting for it to start as soon as possible.

Besides calling the shots for Inshallah, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is also producing a number of films under his production house. His upcoming production venture is Malal, which launches debutants Meezaan Jaffery and Sharmin Segal in Bollywood. Mangesh Hadawale is the director of the film.

The latest we hear that Bhansali has greenlighted yet another film which will, reportedly, focus on colour discrimination to tackle the social nuisance. The filmmaker will launch a new actor with the untitled project. “Bhansali is keen to launch a fresh face with the film to make it more relatable. He is in talks with a few directors, but hasn’t zeroed in on one yet,” a well-placed source reveals.

The source goes on to add, “The protagonist, an ambitious achiever, is still able to hold her own and victoriously beat all odds. The movie will be a slice of life and will be a subtle take on the beauty industry and how it encourages consumers to believe that lighter skin tone leads to better opportunities in life.”

More details on the project are expected to arrive soon.
