Here's the reason why Sara said no to Anushka!

A couple of days ago, reports were floating around that Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's daughter, Sara Ali Khan, who is all set to make her acting debut with the upcoming film, Kedarnath, was offered a movie by Anushka Sharma's banner, Clean Slate Films.

However, now it turns out that the newcomer has declined the offer. According to reports, Sara was keen to collaborate with Anushka, but she had to let go of the project as her Kedarnath director did not want her to sign any other film before the release of her debut venture.

A source reveals, “Sara’s debut film, Kedarnath will release in December next year. Abhishek Kapoor, who is directing the film, does not want her to sign any other film as he feels that will distract her from her first movie outing. The team will finish shooting the film around June next year and then, there is a lot of CGI work that needs to be done.”

The source further adds, “Gattu wants Sara to concentrate completely on Kedarnath till the release of the film. Since Prernaa (Arora) is the common link, the team mutually decided that Sara won’t be doing Anushka’s film anymore. But this development happened after a bit of an internal clash."

According to the source, Sara quite liked the script of the film which has been tentatively titled Bulbul. "It has been tentatively titled Bulbul and revolves around the character that was offered to Sara. The newcomer had loved the script and was keen to be a part of the project. Unfortunately, that couldn’t happen," says the source.

Meanwhile, Anushka Sharma is currently busy with the shooting of her upcoming home production, Pari. The film is slated to release next year.
