Himanshu Malhotra: Received praise for Gali Gulieiyan from all corners

Actor Himanshu Malhotra, who is the associate producer for Gali Gulieiyan, is thrilled with the response that the film has received from the industry. The actor says that people have been praising the film.

“It’s fantastic, fortunately, whosoever has seen the film is all praise for our film. We received 4 and 1/2 stars yesterday from critic Subhash Jha too,” he says, adding, “Right from Anupama Chopda to Rajeev Masand and Jitesh Pillai, everyone has been appreciating the film and, of course, Manoj Bajpayee Ji’s performance. There has been fortunately a great buzz in the industry as well regarding our film. Now, we are eagerly waiting for the audience response on 7th September.”

The actor wants to produce in the future as well but will continue to act too. “I would surely want to balance both acting and producing. It is taxing in the beginning but with God’s grace, the end result is certainly satisfying. I will surely continue to produce in the future,” he says.

Ask him if he will produce a TV show, and he says, “I have not thought about producing a TV show at the moment, but I would surely want to give that a shot as well. In all probability, it will be for only 26 episodes. Short and crisp.”

Meanwhile, the actor is also hosting his talk show Share And Grow Spotlight and loves being part of it. “I love my chat show and with God’s grace, it has been doing really well. The celebrities, who are being invited, are truly kind to us and grace our platform willingly. Their journeys have been super inspiring. I myself learn so much through their stories and journeys. I would definitely like to call varied people from different fraternities to help us all grow together through each other’s experiences,” he says, adding, “ My wish list includes Chetan Bhagat, Gautam Gambhir, Pullela Gopichand, Michelin star chef Vikas Khanna and so many others.”
