Hrithik Roshan, Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush in Aanand L Rai’s next?

Aanand L Rai’s last directorial Zero starring Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma, and Katrina Kaif failed to make a mark at the box office. It was said to be Rai’s weakest work. However, now the filmmaker is all set for his next directorial. According to a report in an entertainment portal, Aanand L Rai’s next will star Hrithik Roshan, Sara Ali Khan, and Dhanush.

A source told the portal, "Sara will play the main protagonist in the film. A month ago, Sara had been spotted at Rai's Andheri office. They were discussing two films and Sara who has been a fan of Rai's films loved this project. It's not known if Sara will be romancing both Dhanush and Hrithik in the movie. But it definitely is an interesting cast for sure."

"Hrithik is also doing Satte Pe Satta next with Farah Khan and Rohit Shetty. Sara, on the other hand, is also locking another big movie in the meantime which is expected to go on floors immediately. So Aanand is planning to start his film around January next year," added the source.

Rai has earlier worked with Dhanush in Raanjhanaa and a couple of months ago when the actor was asked about working with the filmmaker, he had said, “We keep discussing a lot of ideas. I’ll definitely work with him again.” While Dhanush is a big star down South, he has only done two Bollywood films till date, Raanjhanaa, and Shamitabh.

Talking about Hrithik Roshan, the actor is currently riding high with the success of Super 30 and he will be having one more release this year, YRF’s WAR. Reportedly, the actor has given his nod for Satte Pe Satta remake, but an official announcement is yet to be made. Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan has Imtiaz Ali’s next and Coolie No. 1 remake in her kitty. It will surely be interesting to see Hrithik, Sara, and Dhanush in a film together.

Budget halted economic growth, Bank of England warns

THE Bank of England has cautioned that the UK economy is stagnating, following measures introduced in chancellor Rachel Reeves’s budget. Businesses are reportedly responding to tax hikes and a higher minimum wage by cutting jobs and raising prices.

Andrew Bailey, the Bank's governor, revealed that growth forecasts for the final quarter of 2024 have been downgraded to "zero." He also stressed a cautious approach to reducing interest rates, which remain at 4.75 per cent, citing economic uncertainty. “We need to ensure we meet the 2 per cent inflation target sustainably,” Bailey said.
