Hrithik Roshan to promote Super 30 with mathematician Anand Kumar

It has been more than two years since fans have not seen superstar Hrithik Roshan on silver screen. The actor last starred in the Sanjay Gupta directorial, Kaabil, which hit the marquee in January, 2017.

After staying away from spotlight for such a long time, Hrithik is now gearing up to promote his next film, Super 30, which is a biopic on renowned mathematician, Anand Kumar, who is known for picking up 30 meritorious students each year from economically backward sections of society to provide them free coaching for the IIT entrance examination.

According to reports, Hrithik and Anand have joined hands to promote the upcoming film together. “This is the first time for a biopic that the real and reel character would be promoting a film together. At first, Anand was not willing to share the platform with a superstar. It seemed to him that being seen with Hrithik would make him look star-struck. But Mantena convinced Anand that the audience would love them together and would be more excited about seeing the film after they see the real and onscreen avatars of Anand Kumar together”, a source revealed.

Kumar confirms the news, saying that he agreed to do so because he trusts the makers. “Who can say no to Madhu Mantena? He is such a generous and kind-hearted producer. I am going by his gut feeling in every aspect of Super 30,” said the mathematician.

Super 30 is slated to roll into theatres on 26th July, 2019.
