Irrfan Khan yet to sign his next after Angrezi Medium

It is indeed great to see Irrfan Khan resuming work after winning his fight against brain cancer. The Indian National Film Award winner is presently busy with his much-awaited film Angrezi Medium. Directed by Homi Adajania and produced by Dinesh Vijan, the film is a sequel to Khan’s 2017 smash hit Hindi Medium.

According to a source, Irrfan Khan is in no hurry to sign projects left, right and centre. After Angrezi Medium, he has no other film in his hand. “He has taken on one assignment Angrezi Medium, and that is it. He will complete this film and then see how it goes. There is no question of taking on any new assignment at the moment. Irrfan will complete Angrezi Medium and then decide the course of his career in future,” the source close to the development reveals to an Indian daily.

The source goes on to add that Khan is focusing more on personal well-being than career. “Irrfan’s entire perception on life and career has changed. He no longer feels the need to push himself. He may do one film at a time or none at all after Angrezi Medium. It all depends on his health and his state of mind.”

Angrezi Medium wrapped up recently. The last schedule of the film was completed in London. It will now go for the post-production work. Besides Irrfan Khan, the movie also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Radhika Madan in important roles. Radhika Madan, who was most recently seen in Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota (2019), plays Khan’s daughter in the film. Angrezi Medium, bankrolled under Maddock Films and T-Series Films, is scheduled to roll into theatres on 24th April, 2020.
