Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao sign their maiden collaboration?

After the riotous success of Stree (2018), producer Dinesh Vijan is busy announcing one exciting project after another. Out of all the new projects that he has announced over the last few months, two star his favourite Rajkummar Rao. Yes, we are talking about Made In China and Rooh-Afza.

The latest we hear that Rajkummar Rao has been signed on for yet another film by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films. And if reports are to be believed, the new venture will see Rao romancing newcomer Janhvi Kapoor.

Spilling some more details, a source close to the development says, “Post the success of Stree, Dinesh has been on an announcing spree, there was Bala with Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar and then there is also Rooh-Afza followed by Love Aaj Kal 2. Now there is another venture that Dinesh is planning which will feature Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor.”

The source goes on to add, “As of now, Dinesh is keeping his card close to him, not much is known about this venture saved for its lead cast.”

Well, this is the season of unusual pairings in Bollywood and we would definitely love to see Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor on screen in their maiden collaboration.
