John Abraham chooses Nikkhil Advani over Shoojit Sircar for 1911?

John Abraham and Shoojit Sircar together have delivered two of the most memorable films of this decade in the form of Vicky Donor (2012) and Madras Cafe (2013). After the success of the aforementioned projects, the duo was set to reteam for the third time for a film based on a football legend titled 1911.

However, recent news reveals that there is a major change in the plan now. Though the project is going ahead, filmmaker Shoojit Sarkar will not be associated with it because John has decided to team up with Nikkhil Advani instead of him.

The latest development has also sparked off speculations about a possible rift between Abraham and Sircar. We hear that the actor-producer has now put together an entirely new team to execute the project where Nikkhil Advani will helm it while he will be co-producing it along with T-Series Films.

John has recently signed a six-movie deal with Nikkhil Advani’s Emmay Entertainment and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series Films and 1911 is said to be a part of the deal.

Originally, Ayushmann Khurrana was in consideration for the lead part in the movie, but now John Abraham will take the centre stage. The actor is said to be looking for real players to cast in the movie.

Meanwhile, John is presently busy with his forthcoming projects Batla House, Romeo Akbar Walter and Sade Sati.
