Kapil Sharma to shoot his popular show without live audience?

There is no denying the fact that The Kapil Sharma Show, which broadcasts on Sony Entertainment Television, is one of the most popular stand-up comedy and talk shows to have ever aired on Indian television.

It has been providing proper doses of fun and unadulterated entertainment to the audience ever since hitting the small screen. Not just in India, but the show is also popular in several other parts of the world.

However, currently The Kapil Sharma Show stands cancelled due to the Coronavirus outbreak which has brought the entire entertainment industry to its knees. But some reliable sources inform an entertainment portal that the makers are planning to soon revive the show, albeit without a live audience. Yes, you heard that absolutely right!

It is indeed an exciting piece of news for all those fans who were waiting for the fresh episodes of the show with bated breath. A source in the know tells the portal, “Why not? Since the Coronavirus struck the world, the most popular talk show hosts of America like Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel and Ellen DeGeneres adopted a no-audience format. They are even recording their shows from their homes. Kapil is likely to follow this novel way of beating the Corona.”

It was announced earlier that The Kapil Sharma Show was cancelled indefinitely. However, shooting it at home without any live-audience seems to be an excellent option. Let’s see whether or not Kapil Sharma manages to tickle our funny bones from his home.

The Kapil Sharma Show is jointly produced by Salman Khan Television and Banijay Asia with K9 Films.
