Karan Singh Grover starts shooting for Kasautii Zindagii Kay as Mr Bajaj

After weeks of speculations and relentless media coverage, it has been finally confirmed that handsome hunk Karan Singh Grover is indeed making a comeback to television with producer Ekta Kapoor’s numero uno show, Kasautii Zindagii Kay.

Karan, who bid adieu to television in 2013 to explore opportunities in Bollywood, is set to play Mr Bajaj on the show. Mr Bajaj is one of the most iconic characters on Indian television, which was originally played by immensely talented Ronit Roy in the first season of Kasautii Zindagii Kay.

According to reports, Karan Singh Grover has started shooting for the show. He began his schedule by shooting the first promo, which will unveil him as Mr Bajaj. We hear that Ekta Kapoor is planning to experiment a lot with this new character on the show. Unlike Ronit Roy, who played the character in the original show more than a decade ago, Grover will be more stylish and uber cool.

Original Mr Bajaj, Ronit Roy, is glad to know that Grover is set to play the part in the reboot version of Kasautii Zindagii Kay. “I’m very happy for Karan bagging the role of Bajaj. I think he will do a great job. My good wishes are with him. May he and KZK2 attain much greater heights of popularity than I did.”

According to reports, the team of Kasautii Zindagii Kay is heading off to Switzerland to shoot some high voltage scenes. Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes will also join Karan Singh Grover on the outdoor shoot.

It is indeed great to see that Karan Singh Grover is back to his roots. The actor started his television career with Balaji Telefilms' youth show Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi on MTV India. He shot to fame after starring in the Star One show, Dill Mill Gayye. Later, he appeared on yet another hit show, Qubool Hai.
