Kartik Aaryan gives his nod to an action flick?

Kartik Aaryan, who was last seen in BR Studios and T-Series Films’ superhit comic-caper Patni Aur Woh (2019), is shooting for several of his upcoming films at the same time. He is also taking some time off from his busy schedule to promote his immediate release Love Aaj Kal alongside Sara Ali Khan. Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the romantic movie is scheduled for its theatrical release on 14th February 2020.

The latest we hear that the talented actor has bagged a new project. If a recent report is to be believed, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior (2020) director Om Raut recently approached the actor for a film. Aaryan loved the script and gave his verbal nod to it. Though nothing much is known about the project now, the report mentions that it will be an action flick. If the actor has indeed committed to this project, it will be his first film in action space.

Ever since making his acting debut with Pyaar Ka Punchnama in 2011, Kartik Aaryan has mostly starred in romantic and comedy films. There is no denying the fact that he has carved a niche for himself in that space. It will be quite interesting to see how he shoulders an action film.

Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan is shooting for Dharma Productions’ much-awaited film Dostana 2, alongside Janhvi Kapoor and newcomer Lakshya. As the title suggests itself, the movie is a sequel to the 2008 comic-caper Dostana, originally starring Priyanka Chopra, John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan in lead roles. It is slated to release in the second half of the year.

The actor will also be seen in horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Directed by Anees Azmee, the movie also features Kiara Advani and Tabu in important roles. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is slated to enter cinemas on 31st July 2020.
