Katrina Kaif to reunite with filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar?

In her close to two-decade long career, Katrina Kaif has worked with several successful filmmakers, but she has collaborated with director Ali Abbas Zafar for the maximum number of times. The two have worked together on three successful films, including Mere Brother Ki Dulhan (2011), Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) and Bharat (2019). The latest we hear that the duo is set to join hands once again.

According to reports, Ali Abbas Zafar and Katrina Kaif might come together to work on a superhero action film. Zafar will write, direct and produce the movie and Kaif is in consideration to play the female lead in it.

A leading publication reports that since Katrina is one of the fittest actresses in the industry, she would fit the fill perfectly for the superhero action film. The source added that the movie will have some jaw-dropping action sequences that have never been seen before in Hindi cinema.

“Ali will be directing this film and is currently finalising the script. They have been planning this project for a while now. It’s an exciting project for both as it will showcase never-seen-before stunts in Bollywood. Katrina is currently at her fittest and regular workouts will come in handy. The idea is to spin a franchise,” informed the source.

The report further stated that Ali might be in talks with producer Ronnie Screwvala for co-producing the movie. The director will go on a recce for locations after the script is finished. He is planning to roll the film in 2020 itself.

Meanwhile, Katrina Kaif is awaiting the release of her upcoming film Sooryavanshi with director Rohit Shetty. The cop drama reunites Kaif with superstar Akshay Kumar after a gap of a decade. The two were last seen together in Tees Maar Khan in 2010. Sooryavanshi is scheduled for its theatrical release on 27th March 2020.
