Katrina Kaif to reunite with Prakash Jha for Raajneeti sequel

Katrina Kaif, who worked with award-winning filmmaker Prakash Jha on political thriller Raajneeti (2008), is set to reunite with the director for his new project, titled Chanakya Neeti.

According to some insiders, Chanakya Neeti is a sequel to Raajneeti and since Kaif garnered rave reviews for her performance in the original movie, Prakash Jha wants to rope in the actress in its sequel as well.

“The director’s first choice for the lead role is Katrina because she has already worked with him in the past. He likes her as a performer, and he feels that she will do justice to the role. Esha Gupta, who has worked with Jha in Chakravyuh (2012), is another possible contender for the role,” a report states.

Meanwhile, Katrina Kaif is currently shooting for her upcoming films, Thugs Of Hindostan and Zero. Both films are highly awaited by the audience and are set to hit the silver screen on 7th November and 21st December respectively.
