Kiara Advani to work with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra?

2019 turned out to be quite a significant year in actress Kiara Advani’s movie career. She was seen in two high-profile films – Kabir Singh and Good Newwz – which went on to do terrific business at the box-office. The humongous success of Kabir Singh and Good Newwz has helped the actress gain her footing in the industry. She has been receiving some amazing movie offers after the huge success of both the films.

The latest we hear that Kiara Advani, who already has almost half a dozen projects in her pocket, has added yet another interesting film on her resume. According to reports, she has bagged an upcoming Hindi film to be directed by award-winning filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, who last helmed Mere Pyare Prime Minister (2019).

A report published in a leading entertainment magazine states that the untitled project is in pre-production stage right now and will be produced by Ronnie Screwvala. The report goes on to add that the character Kiara Advani has been locked to play in the film will be a meaty one and it will be interesting to see her essay it.

Meanwhile, Kiara Advani is busy shooting for her upcoming projects. She will next be seen in Laxmmi Bomb opposite superstar Akshay Kumar. The horror thriller is set to hit the marquee on 22nd May 2020. After Laxmmi Bomb, she will be seen in Indoo Ki Jawani, slated to arrive in theatres on 5th June. Indoo Ki Jawani will be followed by Dharma Productions’ Shershaah on 3rd July and T-Series Films’ Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 on 31st July.

Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, on the other hand, is currently filming his next directorial offering Toofan. It stars Farhan Akhtar in the lead role. The sports drama, featuring Akhtar as a national level boxer, is set to release on 2nd October 2020.

Neil Young confirms Glastonbury performance after initial withdrawal
