Kirti Kulhari spills the beans on her role in The Girl On The Train remake

Last seen in multi-starrer Mission Mangal (2019), Kirti Kulhari is currently awaiting the release of her next film The Girl On The Train. As the title clearly suggests, the movie is an official remake of the 2016 American mystery thriller drama of the same name, directed by filmmaker Tate Taylor.

Actress Parineeti Chopra plays the lead role in the Hindi remake of the Hollywood biggie. However, Kirti Kulhari is also set for a crucial part in the flick. Talking to a publication, the actress spills the beans on her character in the film and says, “I play a British cop, an investigating officer. My look is something that has never been seen before in Indian cinema. This role is super exciting and it is going to be very thrilling as well.”


The actress goes on to add that she learned kick boxing to slide into the skin of her character. “I learned some kick boxing before I went on to the shoot, so as to bring in a little hardness and sharpness in my attitude as a cop,” she concludes.

Kulhari can be currently seen in Amazon Prime Video’s much-talked-about female-buddy webseries Four More Shots Please! Season 2 (2020). And if reports are to be believed, she has come onboard to headline the second season of Hotstar Specials’ successful courtroom drama, Criminal Justice (2019).

“Kirti has been finalised, but the paperwork etc. has now been stalled due to the current situation. She will be signed on for the show once the lockdown is lifted,” a reliable source had earlier informed the same publication.
