Kriti Sanon joins the cast of Satte Pe Satta remake?

A lot has been said and written about choreographer-turned-filmmaker Farah Khan’s next directorial venture. Though Khan has not confirmed anything related to her upcoming movie as yet, rumours are rife in the tinsel town of Bollywood that she is remaking the 1982 film Satte Pe Satta.

According to reports, Hrithik Roshan and Anushka Sharma have been roped in to play the same roles which Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini respectively played in the original film.


The latest actor to join the rumoured cast of the much-talked-about remake is Kriti Sanon. Buzz has it that she has been approached to essay the role of Seema, previously played by actress Ranjeeta Kaur.

Farah Khan is directing her next for filmmaker Rohit Shetty. They announced their collaboration a couple of months ago, and since then speculations have been rife that the duo is remaking Satte Pe Satta. Khan recently revealed that she may formally announce the film on Diwali.

Meanwhile, Kriti Sanon is looking forward to the release of her next film Housefull 4. Also starring Akshay Kumar, Kriti Kharbanda, Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde and Riteish Deshmukh in principal roles, the comic-caper is scheduled to enter theatres on 25th October.

After Housefull 4, Sanon will be seen in filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker’s much-awaited period drama Panipat. The big-ticket film also features Arjun Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Jeenat Aman and Mohnish Bahl on its cast. Panipat releases on 6th December, 2019. Her slate of upcoming films also includes Laxman Utekar’s Mimi and an untitled film with director Rahul Dholakia.

Northern Ireland approves extension of post-Brexit trade rules

NORTHERN Ireland’s devolved government has voted to continue implementing post-Brexit trading arrangements under the Windsor Framework, a deal signed between London and the European Union in February 2023.
