Krrish 4 to go before cameras in January 2020

After delivering two back-to-back blockbusters – Super 30 and War – superstar Hrithik Roshan has not signed any new project. Though his name has been associated with a couple of films in the past few months, the actor has not confirmed anything about his next venture.

Now, according to the latest report, Hrithik Roshan is planning to join forces with his father Rakesh Roshan to begin work on the next instalment of their popular superhero franchise, Krrish. Reportedly, the father-son duo will be making the official announcement about Krrish 4 in December. If all goes well, the team will kick-start the shoot in the month of January 2020.

If sources are to be believed, Krrish 4 was supposed to be announced last month but Senior Roshan decided to take some time to fine-tune the script to perfect it. Reportedly, the filmmaker is coming up with an out-of-the-box concept which no one has seen before. Earlier, rumours were rife that filmmaker Sanjay Gupta may replace Rakesh Roshan as the director of the franchise. However, Roshan ensured that he is involved in every phase of production including direction.

Besides Krrish 4, Hrithik Roshan has no other project in his hand at the moment. However, if reports are to be believed, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has offered him an important role in his next directorial Gangubai Kathiawadi, starring Alia Bhatt in the title role.

“Bhansali has been in talks with Hrithik Roshan for that role, but Hrithik wants to do something significant after War. The success of the film and its entry into the ₹ 300 crore club has suddenly put pressure on an actor,” a source informed an Indian publication.

Well, an official announcement is awaited to ascertain if Junior Roshan is indeed working on Krrish 4 as his next.
