List of star kids who will make their Bollywood debut in 2018

2018 is going to be a year where, following in the footsteps of their famous parents, a number of star kids will make their acting debut. While some of these young actors have already started shooting for their maiden films, others will face the camera soon. Here, we have brought a list of star kids who are set to make their Bollywood debut in 2018.

Janhvi Kapoor


Daughter of Bollywood stalwarts Sridevi and Boney Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor is set to take a dive in showbiz with her debut film, Dhadak. To be directed by Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania fame director Shashank Khaitan, the film is being bankrolled by Bollywood’s topmost filmmaker Karan Johar. Dhadak, also featuring Ishaan Khattar, is set to release on 6th July 2018.

Karan Deol

Grandson of legendary actor Dharmendra and son of superstar Sunny Deol, 24-year-old Karan Deol is all set to take his family’s legacy forward with his debut film, Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas. Written and directed by Sunny, the film takes its title from one of Dharmendra’s popular songs from his blockbuster film Blackmail. The shooting of the film is going on in full swing. Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas will release in December 2018.

Sara Ali Khan

Daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, Sara Ali Khan is making her acting debut with Abhishek Kapoor’s film Kedarnath. Produced by Ekta Kapoor, Prernaa Arora and Arjun N Kapoor, the film also stars Sushant Singh Rajput as the male lead. Earlier, Sara was about to enter Bollywood with a film produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. However, the deal fell through and she decided to take up Abhishek Kapoor's Kedarnath. The film is scheduled to release on 23rd December 2018.

Ishaan Khattar

Ishaan Khattar is the half-brother of superstar Shahid Kapoor and son of popular actors Neelima Azeem and Rajesh Khattar. Though the young boy has already appeared in Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi’s Beyond the Clouds, he will make his big Bollywood debut opposite Janhvi Kapoor with the film Dhadak. The film is an official adaptation of the hit Marathi film, Sairat.

Ananya Panday

Though the daughter of Bollywood actor Chunky Panday has not signed any project on the dotted lines, she is rumoured to be cast opposite Tiger Shroff in Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year 2. The sequel to Student Of The Year, which launched the careers of Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra in 2012, the film is being helmed by Punit Malhotra.

Abhimanyu Dassani

Abhimanyu Dassani is the son actress Bhagyashree who is still remembered for her debut film, Maine Pyar Kiya, opposite Salman Khan. Though the actress disappeared from Bollywood after doing a couple of unsuccessful films except Maine Pyar Kiya, she wants her son to be a big star. Abhimanyu has reportedly signed a film called Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota, which will release in the second half of 2018.

Aalia Furniturewalla

Aalia Furniturewalla is the daughter of actress and model Pooja Bedi. Popular for her hot pictures on various social media platforms, the young girl will enter showbiz in 2018. However, she has yet not signed any project. An announcement could be made soon, though.

Neil Young confirms Glastonbury performance after initial withdrawal
