Makers drop Yami Gautam’s look from Uri: The Surgical Strike

Ahead of the launch of the much-awaited trailer on 5th December, the makers of the forthcoming Hindi movie Uri: The Surgical Strike have dropped the first look of actress Yami Gautam who essays an important role in the flick.

Gautam, who was most recently seen in Shree Narayan Singh’s social drama Batti Gul Meter Chalu (2018), plays an intelligent officer in Uri. In her first look from the movie, the actress is seen in a grey pantsuit and blue shirt. She sports a short hairdo.

As the title suggests itself, Uri: The Surgical Strike chronicles the events of the deadly attack conducted by the Indian military against the militants in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) as retaliation for the Uri attack.

Apart from Yami Gautam, the action entertainer also stars Vicky Kaushal, Paresh Rawal, Kirti Kulhari and Mohit Raina in significant roles.

Written and directed by debutant Aditya Dhar, Uri: The Surgical Strike is bankrolled by Ronnie Screwvala.

The film is slated to hit the big screen on 11 January, 2019.
