Mirzapur season 2 trailer: The fight for Mirzapur’s throne begins

The first season of Mirzapur started streaming on Amazon Prime Video in November 2018. The series stars Pankaj Tripathi, Vikrant Massey, Divyendu Sharma, Shweta Tripathi, Rasika Dugal, and Harshita Gaur.

The season one ended with a cliffhanger and audiences have been eagerly waiting for season two of the series. Now, finally, after nearly two years, the makers are all set to release season two, and today, they launched the trailer of it.

Amazon Prime Video posted on Instagram, “Mirzapur S2 - Official Trailer Oct 23 Today's 6/10 but we're going to make your october 10/10 ? #Mirzapur2 @yehhaimirzapur @excelmovies @pankajtripathi @alifazal9 @divyenndu @battatawada @rasikadugal @harshita1210 @itsvijayvarma @aasifkhan.1 @amit.sial @anjumsharma @faroutakhtar @ritesh_sid #PuneetKrishna @gurmmeetsingh @mihirbd @vineetkrishna01 @rajeshtailang @sheeba.chadha @talwarisha @priyanshupainyuli @manurishichadha @anangsha @nehasargam @aliqulimirzaofficial.”

Well, in season two Guddu Bhai (Ali), Golu (Shweta), Mannu (Divyendu), and others are all set to fight for the throne of Mirzapur. The trailer is quite interesting and surely makes us curious to watch the series. In season two, we might not get to see Vikrant Massey and Shriya Pilgaonkar, but a talented actor like Vijay Varma joins the cast. In the trailer, each and every actor is fantastic and all have been given a good scope.

While talking about the trailer, Harshita Gaur, who plays the role of Dimpy in the series, said, “I’m very excited for everyone to see the trailer, hear their feedback and counting days for Mirzapur 2 to start streaming. It will be interesting to gauge the audience’s reaction to my character because Dimpy has evolved to a large extent. For Dimpy this season has been quite conflicting, she is trying to create her own reality. After her brother and best friend’s death, her principles are intact but her perception of reality is shifting. Also, this role will always be close to my heart since I have very vivid childhood memories of Mirzapur."

Directed by Gurmmeet Singh and Mihir Desai, Mirzapur season two will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video on 23rd October 2020.

'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' sequel on Netflix: David Fincher helms film written by Quentin Tarantino starring Brad Pitt

David Fincher is set to direct a sequel to Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, with Quentin Tarantino penning the script for the follow-up to his Academy Award-winning film. The project, confirmed by Variety, does not yet have an official title but is being developed at Netflix, where Fincher holds a first-look deal. Brad Pitt will reprise his role as Cliff Booth, the stuntman with a dark past.

The film marks a particularly unique collaboration, not only due to one renowned filmmaker directing a sequel to another’s work but also because of its transition from theatrical release to a streaming platform. The original Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was released in 2019 by Sony Pictures, but Tarantino had negotiated a deal that would grant him ownership of the film’s underlying rights after a set period. The fact that this sequel is being developed under Fincher’s Netflix agreement suggests that Tarantino may already hold the sequel rights privately.
