Mohit Suri rebuffs rumours of making Ek Villain 2 with Sidharth Malhotra and Kriti Sanon

Mohit Suri’s Ek Villain starring Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh received lots of accolades from critics and the audience. The film fared well at the box office too. Recently, there have been reports about Mohit Suri’s  Ek Villain to have a sequel titled Ek Villain 2 starring Sidharth Malhotra and Kriti Sanon. However, during an interview with a leading Indian daily, Mohit has denied such rumours by stating, "I've heard that I am making Ek Villain 2 and that I already have a bound script which has been given to Aditya. But nothing like that is happening. Ek Villan is a Balaji Telefilms property and they haven't approached me yet."

Mohit Suri will be teaming up with Aditya Roy Kapur for a new movie. Confirming the same, he said, "Yes, I am working with Aditya. It will be a thriller."

Adding further, he said, "My earlier films like Murder 2 and Kalyug were also the same genre."

Earlier, Mohit had said in an interview, "I am working on a script and dying to work with Aditya. Even as friends, I have to wow him with the script. Once I am done writing, I will pitch it to him."

Reports suggest that he is planning to cast Shraddha Kapoor opposite Aditya Roy Kapur in the film. Talking about the same, he said, "I don’t know that as yet. Working with both of them would be great since I share a bond with them. After Aashiqui 2, I would love to work with them once again."
