Nagarjuna set to make comeback to Hindi films with Brahmastra

Southern superstar Nagarjuna, who was recently seen in filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma’s Telugu language action-thriller movie Officer (2018), has acted in many Hindi films, most notably Shiva (1990), Khuda Gawah (1992) and Zakhm (1998).

The last Hindi film which Nagarjuna did was LOC Kargil in the year 2003. And if reports are to be believed, he is gearing up to return to Hindi cinema with Dharma Productions’ Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Brahmastra.


“Nagarjuna wanted to do a Hindi film from a long time, but was looking for an interesting project. He finally gave his nod to this one. He will join the Hindi film sets from Tuesday onwards in Mumbai,” a source reveals.

We hear that the actor gave his consent to star in the movie as it also features Amitabh Bachchan in a prominent role. Nagarjuna is a great admirer and friend of the thespian and hence, agreed to come onboard.

Brahmastra is being directed by Ayan Mukerji. It is set to hit screens on 15th August, 2019.
