Not Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif to star in Satte Pe Satta remake opposite Hrithik Roshan?

A few weeks ago, there were reports that Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan will be seen together on the big screen for the first time in Satte Pe Satta remake. The movie will be directed by Farah Khan and produced by Rohit Shetty. However, according to an entertainment portal, it is Katrina Kaif who will be stepping into the shoes of Hema Malini in the remake of Satte Pe Satta.

A source told the portal, “Yes, the makers were considering many top A-list actresses for the role. Considering that it was Hrithik Roshan and also owing to the fact that they needed to fill in the shoes of Hema Maliniji, the makers had a tough choice to make. But eventually, they thought Katrina would fit the bill. In fact, Katrina is quite honoured at the opportunity and she is also excited to play this interesting role.”


Further talking about the cast, the source said, “Satte Pe Satta, indeed had an ensemble cast and it will take a while for the makers to put in the cast together. As of now, talks are just on and as soon as all of it is finalized, the announcement regarding the same will be made.”

Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif have starred earlier starred together in films like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Bang Bang. Both the films were hit at the box office and Hrithik and Katrina’s jodi was loved by the audiences. We are sure fans of both the actors would be excited to see them on the big screen together for the third time.

Meanwhile, Katrina is currently busy with the shooting of Sooryavanshi in which she will be seen opposite Akshay Kumar after a gap of a decade. On the other hand, Hrithik is busy garnering praises and enjoying the success of Super 30. He will next be seen in WAR in which he is pitted against Tiger Shroff. The film will hit the screens on 2nd October 2019.
