On Sidharth Malhotra’s birthday, makers of Shershaah unveil the posters of the film

Sidharth Malhotra celebrates his 35th birthday today. The actor will next be seen on the big screen in Karan Johar’s production venture Shershaah, and today on Sidharth’s birthday the makers have unveiled the posters of the movie.

Sidharth took to Instagram to share the posters of Shershaah. He posted, “An absolute honor to be able to paint the big screen with the shades of bravery & sacrifice. Paying an ode to the journey of Captain Vikram Batra (PVC) and bringing the UNTOLD TRUE STORY with #Shershaah. Releasing 3rd July, 2020. @kiaraaliaadvani #VishnuVaradhan @karanjohar @apoorva1972 @shabbirboxwalaofficial @ajay1059 @harrygandhi @somenmishra @dharmamovies @kaashent.”


Shershaah is a biopic on Captain Vikram Batra who lost his life during the 1999 Kargil War. He was awarded the Param Vir Chakra, India's highest military honour.

Directed by Vishnuvardhan, Shershaah also stars Kiara Advani and it will be hitting the screens on 3rd July 2020. A few days ago, the shooting of the film was wrapped up and Sidharth had posted on Instagram, “And it’s a wrap! The universe has been so kind for giving me the chance to portray the real life hero of our Indian Army, Vikram Batra. And I couldn't be happier to bring you his courageous life story. I want to thank each one of you for being a part of this amazing film. This 3 year long journey has been spectacular and I feel grateful to have the best team by my side. Watch out for our first look! ”

Passengers travelling through Heathrow Airport are being warned of disruption after flooding from a leaking pipe blocked road access to Terminals 2 and 3.

The flooding in Heathrow's central terminal area means passengers cannot currently travel to or from the two terminals by road. The airport is advising people to use rail and Tube services instead while repairs continue.
